Snow Run

I love working from home, but sometimes at the end of the day I get a bit stir-crazy. In spite of the snowstorm last night — and D.C.’s incompetence when it comes to winter weather — I was itching to go for a run.

Surprisingly, it was relatively mild out (probably high 30s) and most of the sidewalks were clear. Way to go, city! I ran down by the mall and the monuments because hey, they look pretty when it snows. Here are a few shots of the scenery:


4.77 miles. It feels good to get out and run — even in the cold. I don’t know why I’m such a weather wimp sometimes, but I need to get rolling on this whole marathon training thing.
